I don't know How anyone could manufacture a worse vaccuum than this one

I'm really amazed at what a terrible product this is. We do typically find that vacuums in this price range have an 18-month life span. I hope this one doesn't last that long so I can toss it sooner. I have read the other reviews, and three people summed up what we have to deal with. The thing blows, in the opposite direction, the dirt and things that I actually want to suck up into the vacuum. That rather defeats the purpose as we race to catch things so the vacuum will suck them up. Every time I or my kids vacuum, it is an understood that we have to vacuum our way into the kitchen so we can turn the stupid thing off on the tile floor so we can sweep up the mess that this vacuum ALWAYS leaves once powered off!!! The vacuum also clogs up within moments of starting to vacuum and my children know they have to go through the house and pick up small pieces of paper and normally vacuumable items because this sorry vacuum won't take care of it!! This is really the worst vacuum I've ever owned, and I've had some bad ones. I don't think I'll ever be able to purchase another Eureka after this experience.
A good vacuum at a good price

We were shopping for a vacuum cleaner especially designed for pets. our old vacuum (with Hepa) left the house smelling like damp pet. This one does a good job and the bag less keeps the musty orders out of the house. It has good suction and even the accessories are useful.
Worst Vacuum I have ever owned!!!

I bought this vacuum because it was advertised as great for pet hair. I have had it for about 6 months now. I have been constantly frustrated with this machine. The design is terrible. The dirt inlet into the cannister is positioned too close to the filter so it clogs every 5 minutes. It also doesn't seem powerful enough to pick up even small dirt. Every time I turn the machine off there is a pile of dirt that falls out. It is so bad that I have to move it onto the tile before I power down so I can sweep up the mess afterwards. Don't waste your money - buy a different vacuum. I want to throw this stupid thing out the window every time I use it. I keep praying it will die so I can buy a new one.
No suction on low carpeting.

I have low carpeting throughout my entire apartment and this vacuum won't suck ANYTHING up off it. All it does is blow it out behind the vacuum. I've had several vacuums that don't do this and was shocked that this one does. The pet attachment is wonderful (and picks up off my carpet-but I can't use a 3 inch attachment on my whole apartment!) and the hoses work great. If this vacuum actually worked on my floor it would be five stars for sure. I'm very disappointed and will have to buy a new vacuum so I can actually clean my floors.
Very Happy so far~handles Pom hair great

Mine came with the attatched dusting tool shown in the pictures above. I had some trouble putting it together as my hands were not strong enough to get the bolts in all the way. My kind young neighbor man came and did that for me and I finished the rest.
It feels like it is self propelled as it pulled me across the carpet. I must admit it is bigger and heaver than I thought it would be. This is what I consider a full size sweeper. I am used to my little Eureka optima that just died and this is more to handle but the pet tool is worth it. That little tool gets Pom hair off the furniture so easy. Twelve amps of suction is great and the tools are all on board. Strong suction with the tools.
It does blow out the front some but I am used to that, it is not as bad as my Optima was at all. I like that it empties form the bottom and not the top. It is worth the seventy-four bucks I paid at the local mart store. It has a 2 year warranty so that is pretty good these days. The other Optima I had 5 years and it was about fifty bucks here at Amazon, I think I got my moneys worth.
And the added bonus is it is purple my favorite color If it were a might smaller it would be a 5 star review. |
