Disappointing

This vacuum is incredibly disappointing. I need it to clean-up cat hair and litter and it often just spits things out the back of the machine. Additionally, it is heavy and awkward to maneuver. My Dyson broke (after a very long time and much use), so I thought I'd take a chance on a cheaper vacuum. Big mistake. Plus the filter has to be changed all the time. Don't buy this is you need a vacuum that actually picks something up.
Best vacuum for me!

I had the old Eureka model before I bought this one. This new model is a great improvement over the old! They apparently completely re-designed the dirt collection and cup, as the other one always got clogged. This one is worth the upgrade! There is no "clog vortex" (my words) where I used to have to take it apart to resolve. Instead, the dirt and fibers go straight into a large cup which easily pulls out and bottom drops out for easy dump into the trash! And I don't have to empty it 2-3 times during a vacuum session as I had to with the old one. All tools are on board with a long hose that has the telescoping wand right on it, unlike the old model. And the crowning glory, the push-button cord wind-up! Yea! Love it! And another good thing, all controls are easily adjustable with the foot. That means I don't have to keep bending over during vacuuming--a big deal for anyone with back problems. Now I am happy to vacuum with my blue wonder, and actually look forward to it! Well worth the price, I don't think anything could be better at this price range or even higher.

was easy to assemble. Is easy to use and has good suction. It is not too heavy, thought it was a little lighter, but still easy to lift and to get around. It is not as loud as my old one, so I am happy....

Eureka 4236AZ Comfort Clean Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner I found it a little difficult to assemble in that the holes could have lined up a little better. Also, a part was missing--it was the hose rack on the bottom of the back of the machine. I emailed the company, which directed me to a local repair shop.

My first belt broke after 4 months of use, the second, a week later.

I agree with other comments about how heavy this machine is.
Works better than i thought and much better than price

Bought this and as a test on carpet we had just Vacuumed with a dyson cyclone(one of the older models)
in a 12x3 piece of carpet we filled chamber and had to empty..awsome..doing whole house over again right now
