Product Description |
| Lightweight and inexpensive yet solidly constructed, the Eureka 4700D LightSpeed offers an excellent value in a full-size upright vacuum. The cheerful yellow unit is easy to push and maneuver, offers powerful, 12-amp suction, and even uses micro-filtration to capture dust mites, pollen, and pet dander for cleaner, healthier indoor air, whether you have allergies or not. Like other bagless models, the LightSpeed eliminates the expense and hassle of disposable vacuum cleaner bags, using instead an easily accessible, easily-emptied dirt cup that's transparent so you can see when it's full. On the downside, the filter needs to be cleaned often, especially if you have pets, but this is also common with other bagless models. In the case of the Eureka LightSpeed, there's only one filter to clean and it's easily washable, simplifying the process considerably. In keeping with its simple, versatile design, the LightSpeed comes with just the right amount of onboard tools: a crevice tool for corners and baseboards, dusting brush for upholstery and blinds, and extra-long, nested extension wand for added reach. All of these attach to an integrated large-diameter hose designed to resist clogging and help keep the unit from tipping when it's pulled. (The hose detaches rather easily, but this comes in handy in case it does need to be cleared.) A grip on top near the base aids in cleaning stairs or upholstery, while the handle lowers almost flat to vacuum under low furniture. Other features include a powerfully bright headlight and an automatic height adjuster, which accommodates surfaces ranging from linoleum to deep pile without ever touching a switch. Weighing in at just 14 pounds, the Eureka 4700D LightSpeed measures 12-3/4 inches wide by 12 inches long by 42-1/2 inches tall; it is covered by a one-year limited warranty. |

| This thing doesn't vaacum at all. It evenly moves any dirt and dust trough your house and thats about it. Its as noisy as a jet, heavy and totally useless. My husband had to buy it cause it looked cool or whatever but he simply bought the worst piece of crap ever made... I loathe vaacuming our apartment because it only means I'll hurt my toes trying to move this tank trough our apartment, cause my cat to panic and poop all over the floor and in the end its still dirty. Great, thanks for making us waste [...]$ Eureka! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!! |

| It has great suction. Lot's of accessory tools. It's nice to just empty the canister than to change a bag. Has a small belt window so you don't have to wonder about a broken belt because you can see it. I'm glad I chose this one! |

| Most importantly you need to know that you can't turn off the beater bar. I suppose you could remove the belt that drives it but doing that is not very convenient. So you can either use it for carpeting or use can remove the belt & use it for hard floors. |
Very good value for money.

I would recommend this vacuum cleaner for use in small houses. I live in a two bedroom townhouse, and I needed to empty out the dust holder a few times, while doing the entire house. Its very easy to use, and comes with a very long cord. The setup instructions are also pretty simple. Its easy to carry around the house. This is the first vacuum cleaner I bought, but I have used other vacuum cleaners before, and I would recommend this over most cleaner. It does not overheat. However, be careful with any polythene or any sticky materials being sucked in. It heats very fast when that happens. The only problem I found with this cleaner is that when you the nozzle, you need to remove the tube from the sucking system below. Then, if the floor is not yet perfectly clean, you get dust being kicked up by the that system into the air. That is the only concern I have with this.
I am a student, and I don't heavily use a vacuum cleaner. Its more like an occasional use, and this is a very good vacuum cleaner for this price. I think it is quite tough to beat it at this price point. |
GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK!!

| I had a $500 dyspon and this light weight miracle out manuvered and out cleaned it in EVERY way!! I wish I had found this before I had wasted all the money on the Dyson. Very light weight cleans my 2100 square foot home with ease. I would say the one drawback is it doesn't have a stair attachment for cleaning stairs but you can buy one for around $10 it is called the Power Paw so it is well worth it!! I think it works better on carpet than floors but since my house is mostly carpted it is a LIFESAVER for me!! Love this product!! |
